Strawberry Margarita Squares Dessert Recipe

Love a frozen margarita? This Strawberry Margarita Squares Dessert Recipe takes the cake. A strawberry, lime juice, and cream cheese filling top a pretzel crust for a perfect way to chill out.

You can substitute nilla wafers for the pretzels, or cream cheese instead of cool whip.  I added a little more butter to the crust.

Strawberry Margarita Squares will be a huge hit at any potluck or summer party.

Kitchen Tips

  • Size Wise
Stick to the serving size. A small portion of this rich strawberry dessert is all that is needed.
  • Strawberry Margarita Pie
Prepare dessert as directed, pressing crumb mixture onto bottom and up the side of 9-inch pie plate before adding the strawberry filling and freezing as directed.
  • Special Extra
For easy cleanup, line baking pan with foil using this easy method. Turn pan upside down and fit a piece of foil over the top of the pan, smoothing corners as needed. Remove foil. When you turn the pan over, the foil fits perfectly inside the pan.
  • Make it Easy
For easy cutting of frozen desserts, run a sharp knife under hot water before use.
